When using hydraulic power packs, humid air is sucked in by pressure compensation with the environment, which condenses when the temperature falls below the dew point. The use in high humidity and temperature fluctuations promotes condensation damage. Rapid aging of the hydraulic oil, degradation of additives and promotion of corrosion are only some of the possible damages. To prevent damage caused by condensation water, the use of a ventilation dryer is an effective measure. This dries the incoming supply air and thus achieves a strong reduction of the water content and the dew point.
